When developing a report in Visual Studio 2010 for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 I wanted to include the parameters quoted in the “No Rows Message.”  This message is simply the text that is inserted into the report when no data is found.

Recently, one of our clients requested that the default font size be increased on some of their reports to make them more readable for the users.  This change was to be used for a few out-of-the-box reports, custom reports, and AutoReports generated from forms as well.

Labels Anyone?

Typically speaking, printing labels is an easy thing to do, right?  Anyone who has ever used the label printing in Word knows you can just enter some information into a little dialog box, choose a label type, and load up the label in your printer to print. Maybe those same people even took it a step further and tried a mail merge to their label output.  Sweet!
